I urge you all to please read this bill. These three pages will categorically shift the overall safety of our students in the wrong direction.

 

It is embarrassing how little effort was given toward the most critical and dangerous pieces of this legislation.

PART II: "Repeal Pistol Purchase Permits" offers no awareness of the safety measures and effectively repeals 6 gun control standards from the past...

 

and could quite literally fit in a tweet. 

 

The UNC System houses over 240,000 students, and we will continue to see our peers lost as a result of our legislature folding to gun lobbyist and polical extremist
